maz is more than a name. it is who she became the day she stopped trying to fit the mould. every piece carries that moment.

it began with a single choker.

in the west, a collar around the neck has long spoken of restraint - of leather, of submission, of being held. yet for centuries, from the kayan of myanmar to the miao of southern china, from the gadaba of odisha to the hamar of ethiopia and the ndebele of southern africa, the neck ring has meant something else entirely: beauty, rank, identity. never a constraint but a presence.

inside maz reads the choker through that lineage, and returns it as an adornment of power. not a collar - a spine. the women who wear it say the same thing: they stand differently.

every choker and anklet is made entirely by hand. no mould, no repeat. the silver tube is formed, doubled, then hammered until its surface ripples - as if it had already lived a life. no two are alike.

from that first choker grew a language of stackable forms. rings, cuffs, collars - each a smaller echo of the original, cast in small batches, worn alone or layered in compositions that change with you. from stripped-down to monumental.
