inside maz is an independent label rooted in the vision of maz, french-born designer from corsica, dedicated to handcrafted objects made to last.

raw materials, monumental forms, and meticulous making come together in an aesthetic that holds a quiet tension — bold yet restrained, sculptural yet wearable. the brand explores the relationship between form, material, and the beauty of imperfection.

originally conceived around chokers, drawn from the adornment traditions of the kayan lahwi women, whose brass coils — added one by one from childhood and worn throughout life — carry identity, continuity, and a beauty defined outside western conventions. that principle of stacking and accumulation became the starting point of the collection. over time it expanded into other pieces, each one a smaller echo of the original, designed to be worn alone or layered in ever-changing compositions.

the work is shaped in sterling silver (925), 18k yellow gold, diamonds in their many forms — white, black, salt-and-pepper, and raw — and iron meteorites. each material is used at the state that serves the piece: faceted when light should travel through, rough when matter speaks for itself.
